Class Experience

Preparing for an audition? You won't want to miss this class! This class is for actors looking to level up their performance skills and prepare for a variety of audition types. Material covered will range from film scenes to commercial copy to musical theatre songs! Actors will learn how to break down monologues and songs to bring intention and emotion to any piece. They will also begin to learn how to select effective audition material that showcases their unique talents and personality! Actors will have the chance to put their new learnings into action with low stress performances for classmates and parents. 

Notes

Masks are not required, but students will be welcome to wear a mask if that makes them feel most comfortable.

Registered families are welcome to enjoy the Burgundy playground!

Meet your Instructor

Debora C.

A BFA graduate in Theatre Performance from VCU, Debora has been professionally acting and teaching in the metro area since 2014. She has been in multiple plays (School Girls; or, The African Mean Girls Play - Round House, A Christmas Carol - Ford's Theatre), and recently wrapped up a national tour with Kennedy Center Theatre for Young Audiences’ Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus! The Musical! She also teaches medical students and loves to sing, dance, and create with children!
