Make movie magic with music this spring! Each week, students will explore a different song from popular films such as Moana, Brave, Mary Poppins and more. Through developing characters and beginning to learn performance techniques, each little star will gain skills in self-expression and build confidence.

Meet your Instructor
Emily G.
DC native Emily is a graduate of SUNY Purchase conservatory with a double BA in Theatre & Medieval Studies. A SAG member, she is an actor, singer, teaching artist, & company member with the Maryland Renaissance Festival. Her post-grad training includes Studio Theatre, Shakespeare & Co., & Shaw Festival (Ontario); as well as classical voice. Since 2013 she has performed around the region. Her classes emphasize theatre as play, with a focus on improv, character creation, group work, and movement.
