Class Experience

Young dancers and singers will learn musical theatre basics - or build on what they know already - in this fun creative movement class that will help them learn how to act out songs with enthusiasm and lots of energy. Beginners are welcome to join this group and shine onstage at the final class during a presentation for parents. No previous experience is required. The instructor will meet each student at their current level of experience so that everyone learns new techniques and has fun!

Notes

Masks are not required, but students will be welcome to wear a mask if that makes them feel most comfortable.

Registered families are welcome to enjoy the Burgundy playground!

Libby P.

Libby is originally from Georgia and received her B.A. in theatre from Brenau University. While in college, she worked with a local theatre that focused on working with schools without arts programs. There she learned that teaching children was her passion and sharing the joys of theatre with those who may never have the opportunity was where her heart lies. She recently worked with the Tony Award winning Alliance Theatre and is so excited to bring the joy of theatre here to Alexandria!
