Class Experience

Little Stars will get to try acting in this fun-filled class that combines creative movement and listening skills as children act out beloved stories. Creative and dramatic play will help preschoolers to further develop social skills, confidence and empathy each week. Self-expression and collaboration skills will grow as they listen and understand what's taking place all around them. Students will take turns sharing their ideas and work together to create imaginary settings. Don't miss out on this fun and active learning opportunity that will engage all of your child's senses! Families are welcome to use the Burgundy playground after class too!

Notes

Masks are not required, but students will be welcome to wear a mask if that makes them feel most comfortable.

Registered families are welcome to enjoy the Burgundy playground!

Meet your Instructor

Imani C.

Imani Curtis began her training in dance at the age of 5. She was formally trained at Joyce Laverne Dance studio where she studied the art of Ballet, Tap, Jazz and Lyrical Dance. She’s continued her training throughout her high school career, dancing with company’s and ensembles gaining skills in Hip Hop, African, Majorette, and Contemporary dance. She continued her dance career at Morgan state university where she majored in Theater Arts and Dance Education.
