In this camp characters and relationships are explored on a deeper level. Students discover how action and behavior shape characterization. Students continue to track their character’s journey through scenes and monologues; articulating the essential elements of building a character, playing objectives, fighting through obstacles and trying to resolve the conflict in the scene.

Welcome to the next level! Musical theater performance is more than a pretty voice; it’s acting through a song. Students explore how to interpret and connect to the lyrics to tell the story in the song. Basic vocal technique and breath control will be introduced to continue to enhance students undrstanding of musical theatre performance.
