Even the most confident dancers can lose their footing and question their creative capabilities. Are you unsure how to proceed with moving from the thought process to teaching an ensemble? Learn how to get comfortable with the human body and understand how it relates to the other performers and the space. This class is geared toward students who want to understand spatial relation and dancer awareness, while learning how to create original choreography and build for the stage. Each day will vary with differing elements from Broadway choreography - come ready to learn, grow and have fun!
We strongly encourage parents to drop their children off, but if your child needs you to stay a little, especially on the first day, then you are more than welcome to sit in. Please bring water and snacks, as well as a lunch for your performers. They will need the nourishment for their imaginations, active voices and bodies. We will take a morning and afternoon break, as well as a longer lunch break - so they will have time to refuel and hydrate.
