Rebellion is nigh in Matilda, a gleefully witty ode to the the anarchy of childhood and the power of imagination! This story of a girl who dreams of a better life and the children she inspires will have audiences rooting for the “revolting children” who are out to teach the grown-ups a lesson.
Join us for a full week of singing, dancing and acting as we capture the magic of the recent movie release and the Browadway Musical. Mark your calendars for our final showcase at the end of the day on Friday - the last day of camp!
We strongly encourage parents to drop their children off, but if your child needs you to stay a little, especially on the first day, then you are more than welcome to sit in. Please bring water and snacks, as well as a lunch (if you are do the extended camp) for your performers. They will need the nourishment for their imaginations, active voices and bodies. We will take a morning and afternoon break, as well as a longer lunch break - so they will have time to refuel and hydrate.
We know that life is ever evolving, we ask that cancellations come in a timely fashion so as not to adversely impact other members of the production or class nor the staff. No cancellations will be accepted within 72 hours of the program.
