Each participant will make their own fuzzy creature with Arbutus Folk School instructor Amanda Hanson. Using wool from sheep and special barbed needles, each creation will have its own unique personality as your group sculpts a chicken, hedgehog, bunny, fish, or another project of your choosing based on learning goals or event themes. Please note there are limitations on project choice based on duration of workshop - the longer the workshop, the more complex the project can be.
Students will learn about the process and science behind needle felting, and how to safely use the felting tools. No prior experience needed. All tools & materials are provided.
