Class Experience
Taught by local artist Joel Pasquarelli, this 3 day workshop will delve into the technical skills and techniques used in Trompe L'oeil (French for "Fool the Eye") painting. We will cover the understanding of form and light found in a still life, creating a singular painting over the course of the workshop using traditional techniques such as the Imprematura or underpainting, successive color passes, and glazing to create complex shadows and a sense of space. Note: Supply list is below, you will have to purchase your own supplies before the first class.

Thursday, Jan 5 (5-8:30pm)
Friday, Jan 6 (5-8:30pm)
Saturday, Jan 7 (10am-2pm)

Due to the small size of our classes and the planning that needs to take place, we are not able to issue refunds for missed classes.
For classes with a waitlist, if we are able to fill your spot, we are happy to issue a refund

Masks are optional when attending any of our indoor classes or events. ArtFarm reserves the right to update our mask policy at anytime, notice will be given in advance if anything changes.
What To Bring
- You will be responsible for ordering your own supplies before the first class. The instructor has provided a link to two supply lists where you can order direct through Blick Art Supply. You can also bring your own supplies from home if you already work in oils.
