Wednesday's with Susan Mayberry
Ages 5-8
Get cozy in our studio this winter while we learn methods of traditional arts and crafts, explore the cultures which made them, while looking to nature as inspiration. Use your modern sense of creativity to make your own unique birdhouses from gourds, carve mock scrimshaw, make paper mache, weave, sew, and paint various useful and decorative pieces. Themes of order and chaos and the meaning of art will be discussed.
