Have you wanted to try life drawing but don't want to commit to a weekly session? Are you looking for more opportunities to practice drawing the human figure? This workshop is for you.
Life drawing is often thought of as one of the basic skills of an artist. Life drawing is the term used to describe drawing the human body – from life (as opposed to from a photograph), using your own skills in observation. This monitored session is open to individuals of all levels of experience. Though without formal instruction, sessions tend to develop natural discussions of technique and materials into which all are welcome to participate. The poses will be timed, with an emphasis on longer poses.
Note: This is not a drop-in class. Preregistration is required.
Participants should bring their own drawing materials.
If a participant wants to cancel their enrollment, we will refund the amount of tuition minus a non-refundable $30 registration fee if request is made no less than 8 business days prior to the start of class. See full policy here.
