Class Experience

Join Cassie to learn how seasonal use of Ayurvedic foods and yoga movements can add benefit to your autumn. This workshop will re-establish the way you think about the food you eat by regaining mental clarity and improved digestion.

In this class we will identify your constitution (Dosha), engage in preparation of the Kitchari recipe and sample Kitchari. During this Ayurvedic autumn cleanse, you eat Kitchari for breakfast, lunch and dinner along with lots of water throughout the day. The reason? Ayurveda believes that this monodiet of easy-to-digest food gives your body and digestive system time to rest. While most cleanses and detoxes out there are geared towards weight loss and athletic performance, the Kitchari Cleanse is about resetting your gut — the body’s second brain and command center for sleep, immunity, hormone balance and other important functions.

The workshop will culminate with a soul soothing sound bath of quartz singing bowls, then move into an optional Slow Flow body and mind stretch!
