Description
This hands-on, week long class allows students to plan and design effective visual media. Students will have the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art Adobe Premiere video editing software, iMac Computers, and various cameras which are common place in the professional broadcasting and movie making industries. Not only will students be introduced to and take pictures using different camera based shot angles but, through various projects, they will have the opportunity to create a visual medium that will portray a specific message. Video editing techniques will include layering sound and video, adding titles, Chroma Key (Blue/Green Screen), inputting transitions, and cutting and placing footage in a non-linear fashion. Projects will include but are not limited to a Video Montage and A Weather Forecast. Topics within the projects are student choice.
