Description
Calling all cool kids who LOVE PETS and DOING GOOD in the community!!! In this camp, we will make and celebrate all things about being a helpful citizen and advocate for animals.... Dogs, cats, birds, guineas (eeek, snakes too!)...we want to celebrate all of your little friends!
Kids will make lots of art! Some to take home, some to sell. Children will vote on one organization to contribute to through the sell of their artwork. The project will be the ideas of the group, but typically include an ART SALE (imagine lemonade stand but art) on the last day of camp. Please consider this during your weekly schedule. Kids very much look forward to this event!
In the past we have met therapy dogs from the UK hospital, cats, lizards and more. Please note if your child has any allergies or fear of animals.
We will do all things art, meet a few cool animals and just have lots of summer fun. Peace, Love + ART!!
Notes:
Dress for ART + summer weather! We get m e s s y........ Our summer studio is indoor/outdoor. Please send a water bottle and lunch. Camp is DROP OFF only. Kids are allowed to use cell phones for emergency + logistic use ONLY. They must stay in a backpack or with a teacher if brought to the studio. Absolutely no photos/games/etc. ARTplay Camps are refundable up to 45 days in advance, minus $50 processing fee per week cancelled. Should we be able to fill the spot, after 45 days in advance and minus the $50 processing fee per week cancelled, we will provide a credit to use for classes/camps. Camps are otherwise non-refundable. Be ready for FUN!
