Step into the Laboratory with Val Williams (Dilber the Cranky Banana, Songs for Young Whippersnappers, MsEd candidate, American University) for this super fun weekly exploration where limitless discoveries await!
In this class, students will
Engage in sensory play and scientific observation
Learn the basic steps of scientific experiments
Discover basic engineering principles and perform tests
Gain understanding of spatial relationships and rudimentary physics
Learn how to cross-apply knowledge acquisition
Cultivate curiosity, de-mystify “mistakes”, and gain confidence in fearless exploration
