So you have this GREAT idea for a film, or maybe you dont, but you've always wanted to try and write a script...so why not?
In this course we will explore the craft and development of screenwriting. Students will have an understanding of structure, format, dialogue, and develop the skills and techniques utilized in creating screenplays.
Acting as a member of a writing community students will offer feedback to other writers in the course and respond to feedback from their work.
Classes might include brief discussions on dramatic theory from classical period to the contemporary, and/or script writing for news/television, along with Free Write time to help get your ideas flowing.

Classes are non-refundable unless we cancel. In the event your scheduled teacher is unable to teach the scheduled class, we will first attempt to provide a substitute. If a substitute is not available, we will attempt to re-schedule.
