Class Experience

In this class, we will gain an understanding of the experiences of African Americans in America. We will cover the extraordinary contributions, the struggles of respect, racism and human rights, and the economic impact on the African American community. Gain an understanding of why the Black Lives Matter movement is in place and how you can be part of the solution.

Sample Class Format

  • This class will use real life stories, videos of documentaries, videos of historical fiction and the Socratic method (systematic quesions and discussion) to lead students to understanding and empowerment.

Classes are non-refundable unless we cancel. In the event your scheduled teacher is unable to teach the scheduled class, we will first attempt to provide a substitute. If a substitute is not available, we will attempt to re-schedule.
