Minimum Skills:

For students who have the ability to:

- introduce themselves to another person

- read and write in hiragana

- ask and answer simple questions, such as age, prices, likes & dislikes

- use verbs in the dictionary form

We will get some background on Japanese foods and ingredients and learn how to navigate a trip to a restaurant. We will compare and contrast hiragana with our new katakana alphabet as we learn the new characters.
