Arts Camp for Individuals with Special Needs
Five days of games, skits, music, art, and fun - ending with a public performance in a local theatre!
The arts are powerful therapy tools that communicate thoughts and feelings, while affirming the value and significance of the artist. All Arts Alive! camps are designed to increase confidence in our students by appreciating and encouraging each person’s unique gifts and talents. We believe that all people have purpose and reveal the glory of God, because He made them, and He doesn’t make mistakes! At Arts Alive’s Camp Glory, we will celebrate God’s creation while acting, dancing, singing, painting, and sharing joy.
Free Public Performance will be at 4:30 pm, Friday, July 17 at Gordon Wilson Hall, WKU (between Cherry and VanMeter).
Arts Alive! will have a Registered Nurse on staff for Camp Glory.
Camp will meet Monday-Wednesday at Covenant Ministries, 634 Wakefield Street, Bowling Green and Thursday in the Lab Theatre of Gordon Wilson Hall, WKU.
All slots will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. You may secure your slot with a $30 non-refundable deposit (just select the installment payment plan option).
We will have an RN on staff for Camp Glory to attend to any medical needs or care!
