Class Experience

Engage in a relaxing artmaking process that focuses on gathering uplifting words that ease our minds and inspire others. In this class, we will cut words and colorful shapes from local magazines, glue them on canvases, and add acrylic paint and a gloss medium that acts as a laminate. We will also make bookmarks using a similar process. This class emphasizes positive thinking, self-love and creating art that reflects our hearts and gives us a sense of satisfaction. Art is meant to be enjoyable for us to create, and, hopefully, for others to also enjoy. We will work individually and as a group, allowing time for discussion about our experiences throughout the process and encouraging each other's artistic endeavors.
