Treat your friends, invite them to join you for a 2 hour long handbuilding party at Artshack!

Handbuilding parties take place in the Annex at our two large communal tables. We can accommodate parties on Saturday from 10AM-8PM and Sundays from 10AM-3:30PM.

What to expect:
Get your hands dirty! Handbuild something at our communal table. With our experienced instructors, you can handbuild anything: vases, bowls, mugs, or plates. Your instructor will walk your group through the process of making coils, slab construction, kirinuki, or extruder creation (depending on what you choose to make). After you create your pieces, you and your guests can paint them with colored slip and we will clear glaze them and fire them twice for you.

Pieces will be available for pickup 2 weeks after the party. (Safe for food & your microwave)

$75 per person, with a 6 person minimum, plus a $150 studio booking fee. (Pricing includes the firing fee for 1 peice per person, up to 5 x 5 x 5 inches. If an attendee wants to make a larger piece, they are welcome to, but they will have to pay our regular firing fee of $0.06 per cubic inch.)
