SUMMER CAMP 2019

Spend the summer making pottery and art! For Ages 5-10.
HOURS: 9 AM–3 PM
Optional Early Drop-Off: 8:30 AM
Optional Extended Day: 4:00 PM

Kids will do both ceramics projects and one mixed media project per week. They'll spend an hour or more every day in the park during lunchtime.
In all weeks, kids will use the wheels, slab roller and extruder while experimenting with clay.

Week 1 : (6/17) 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea Week
Kick off the summer with a nautical-themed week of adventure.
Week 2 : (6/24) Archaeology Week
Dig into the past to learn about the beliefs and techniques of ancient artisans.
Week 3: (7/1) Mystery Week
Put your heads together to solve a mystery using your own spy gear.
Week 4 (7/8) Claymation Week
Get your Oscar speech ready–we’re directing the next summer blockbuster.
Week 5 : (7/15) Gnome Week
Create miniature ceramics for our magical, mischievous garden friends.
Week 6 : (7/22) Kiosk Week
Learn entrepreneurial skills and raise money for charity as we work together to launch our one-day-only shop.
Week 7 : (7/29) Activism Week
Make your voice heard through protest art.
Week 8 : (8/5) Wild Week
Unleash your inner beast: this week is all about animals!
Week 9 : (8/12) Culinary Week
Create objects to eat off of and art that looks good enough to eat in this food-themed week.
Week 10 : (8/19) Future Week
Take the time and space to envision the kind of world we want to live in.

Pricing (includes all materials, snack & clay firing):
$575 per week
(excluding week of 7/1, which is $460)

Cancellation Policy: Earlybird discount rate does not apply if you need to change your dates after March 15th. If you cancel before May 1st you will receive a full discount. We do not offer refunds after May 1st, 2019. If you need to change your camp dates, do so before May 1st; otherwise we cannot guarantee your spot.
