Your signature on the party agreement shows your understanding of the following policies:

1. Confirm the number of children attending one week prior to the date of your party. This will determine your final amount due for the party regardless of whether all of the planned children attend.

2. The room will be open 30 minutes before the start of your party and you will be able to use this time to set up and prepare.

3. Decorations in the form of table cloths, weighted balloons, table centerpieces, themed plates/flatware, and hats are permitted. Decorations may not be taped or stapled to walls or cupboards and no decorations may be hung from the ceiling. No piñatas or confetti.

4. Additional tables and chairs may be available for your use. Please make arrangements prior to arrival.

5. If you are going on a hike during your party:

i. Please ask your guests to dress appropriately for the weather and wear comfortable footwear that can get dirty,

ii. At least one adult must accompany the children and staff member,

iii. In the event of inclement weather, other activity options will be available.

6. Please leave the room in the condition that you found it before the party. If the birthday party area is not properly cleaned up and removal of decorations, food, etc., an additional clean-up fee will be assessed and charged. The agreement holder will be invoiced for such damage and excessive cleaning fees within 48 hours of the party. Asbury Woods staff will take care of the garbage and vacuum the room.

7. You must provide your own food, cake, snacks, refreshments, etc. for the party and a cooler to keep items cold if needed. A freezer is available for ice cream, however.

8. Children must be supervised during the party at all times and please remember that running is not permitted in the nature center.

9. Third party vendors (clowns, magicians, etc) are not permitted other than to provide snacks, cake, refreshments, etc.

10. All Asbury Woods property and buildings are tobacco free and drug free. Smoking, tobacco products, illegal drugs, look-alike drugs and weapons are prohibited.

11. Cancellation policy: In the event that you cannot keep your birthday party reservation we will make every attempt to reschedule the party. If rescheduling is not possible, the cancellation policy is as follows:

a. Cancellation more than 2 weeks prior to the party – full refund of the $50.00 deposit.

b. Cancellation more than 1 week but less than 2 weeks before the party – $25.00 refund of the deposit.

c. Within 1 week of the party – $50.00 deposit is non-refundable.
