CASTING is open to all performers ages 9-18.
Mankind & Company is written by Thomas Hischak, directed by Felicia Bredenberg, and produced by BackStory Youth Theatre through special arrangement with Pioneer Drama Service, Inc. Englewood, CO. This show is an age-appropriate "Game of Thrones" meets Greek Mythology and is ideal for split casting or single casting depending on COVID requirements as the season evolves!

This is our fifth annual summer spoof production and we hope to see many new and returning talented kids at auditions! Approximately 16-20 actors will be cast. Cost of production is $175. *A $50 refundable deposit is required to secure an audition spot. Deposit is refunded within 5 business days if actor is not offered a role in the production. Please email info@backstorytheatre.org if you need financial assistance.

Please prepare a 60 second comedic monologue highlighting your vocal projection, sense of humor, and ability to move naturally on stage. A Shakespearean or parody/spoof style of comedy is encouraged but not required.
All actors should arrive at auditions with a resume, headshot (informal), and list of potential scheduling conflicts. Auditions are at the Broomfield Auditorium NOT at BackStory's studio.

Actors must use the month of May to get off book on their own time.
