Class Experience

In this class we will learn the basics of improvisational scenework. We will focus on the elements of collaborative listening, movement, and character work. No experience required. All are welcome! Ages 18+

Class meets Thursdays from 7:00 - 8:00pm at BackStory Theatre (555 Burbank St, Unit Q).

Minimum enrollment 4, maximum 15. Please review our COVID policies at www.backstorytheatre.org. Classes will be modified as necessary according to city and state health requirements.

Notes

CLASS MEETS: THURSDAYS - March 28 - April 25- 7:00pm @ BackStory Theatre (555 Burbank St, Unit Q, Broomfield, CO 80020 - we are the last unit in the last building on your left as you enter the parking lot.)

Students should wear clothes they can move freely in and closed-toed shoes (there is an area in the lobby to leave snow boots). Flip-flops and other slip-on shoes present tripping hazards in class. Please bring a WATER BOTTLE, pencil, and highlighter to every class.
PLEASE DO NOT BRING SNACKS WITH NUTS OR ANYTHING "CRUMBLY". WATER ONLY - SUGARY & DYED BEVERAGES MAY DAMAGE COSTUMES & PROPS.
PLEASE SAVE THIS INFORMATION & CLASS DATES/TIMES WHEN REGISTERING. Please be mindful of prompt start/stop times as late arrivals negatively impact the entire cast and late exits may prevent instructors from meeting other evening performance and teaching obligations.

Final performance, if applicable, may be relocated to accommodate live audiences or recorded without audiences based on COVID requirements at time of performance.
