Students should wear clothes they can move freely in and closed-toed shoes (there is an area in the lobby to leave snow boots). Flip-flops and other slip-on shoes present tripping hazards in class. Please bring a WATER BOTTLE, pencil, and highlighter to every class. Once scripts are distributed, they should also be brought to every class. While focus games & activities are incorporated into class time for skill building, the focus will be on performance rehearsals to develop a deep understanding of stage terminology, thorough character development, blocking, stage projection, pacing, and ensemble support. Performance and other class details will be sent by the directing team during the class week to the email used to register for class. PLEASE DO NOT SEND SNACKS WITH NUTS OR ANYTHING "CRUMBLY". WATER ONLY - SUGARY & DYED BEVERAGES MAY DAMAGE COSTUMES & PROPS. Students will be asked to provide their own solid black shoes (no sneakers, please) for performance night and any baselayer (leggings/shorts/shirt) to wear under their costume. Costumes & props provided by BackStory. PLEASE SAVE THIS INFORMATION & CLASS DATES/TIMES WHEN REGISTERING.
