The value of being “street smart” is an important skill students will learn in this self-defense class. Students will learn how to talk, handle and defend themselves against a bully, if the situation should ever arise, while having fun and building confidence. Each student will receive a karate belt and a board to break. Sensei Carmen, a 2nd generation student, has 43 years of experience at his Maplewood-South Orange school of martial arts.
