Class Experience

There's nothing better than summer in Big Sky ... but Summer Soccer Camp in Big Sky has a pretty nice ring to it, don't you think?

We can't wait to have fun and work hard with your kiddos, and see how quickly their skills and fitness accelerate!

Sample Class Format

  • Our Full Day Soccer Camp for competitive youth (9-13 year-olds) is designed to maximize the ball time for each player and to build advanced soccer skills and strategies that translate into game time success. We’ll also be heavily focused on soccer specific fitness where each athlete will be biomechanically assessed and will receive their own individualized fitness program to promote functional excellence, while boosting speed, agility, and endurance. We have an exciting collection of professional coaches all of whom are dedicated to seeing each young athlete accelerate into their potential while also having a BLAST! Each athlete will be evaluated within the four critical components of soccer (Technical, Tactical, Physical, and Psychological) and each athlete will be given priority areas to focus on to achieve maximum results as an individual while also owning an important role as a team player.
  • Technical Skills will be emphasized during the warm-up to smooth and groove muscle memory and will involve all aspects of ball management, including ball control with the body, various passing techniques, feints, cuts, turns, slalom dribbling, shooting on goal from all angles, bending shots, moving throw ins, penalty kicks, and goalie drills.
  • Tactical Drills help shape offensive and defensive decisions with and around the ball. We’ll focus on numerous field formations and small field drills to help set plays that offer various options for both the offense and defense, dictate purposeful running, enhance spatial awareness, communication, and real time decision making.
  • Physical Drills will be tailored to the individual athlete and will incorporate B-Strong training to prevent injuries, sprint work for speed and endurance, agility and mobility for multi-planar movement, and brain drills for enhanced output.
  • Psychological Drills involve keeping score, being competitive and finding a way to win, with a positive and resilient attitude. This component involves learning how to be a leader that champions good sportsmanship.
