Mixing hands-on coding with interactive play, your young Computer Scientist will learn basic coding principles that allow them to bring stories to life. Using Scratch, a drag-and-drop multimedia programming language designed by MIT, children learn algorithms and programming all while developing and illustrating their own personal stories. Our all female, rockstar instructors will model how to plan, develop and create a story using Scratch. Students will be given time to apply what they have learned while working on their projects with the help of the instructor. Even Pixar will be impressed with the final creations!

Boolean Girl is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit whose mission is to reverse the under-representation of girls and women in STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) by engaging girls and under-represented groups in grades three through eight with meaningful, hands-on instruction and sustained exposure to computer science and engineering in a collaborative and welcoming environment.
Thanks again for supporting us in our mission to bring computer science education to as many children as possible.
Inperson summer camps will happen with large college size classrooms for social distancing and all CDC recommended safety precautions!
