Ready, set, decorate! Bring out everyone’s competitive side with a private Cake Wars Decorating Party at Candyland Crafts in Raritan, New Jersey. This fun, hands-on cake decorating competition is perfect for corporate team building, retirement celebrations, birthdays, adult parties, friends, family groups, and other private events.

During this 2-hour experience, guests receive their own cake and decorating supplies and put their creativity to the test. Our instructors provide decorating guidance and piping tips before the competition begins—then it’s time for Cake Wars!

Choose a theme for your challenge, or let us help create a custom competition built around your company, team, celebration, or guest of honor. Participants decorate using buttercream, piping techniques, sprinkles, and edible decorations. Finished cakes are presented to the group, judging begins, and a Cake Wars champion is crowned.

Every Cake Wars Party Includes
- A cake for each participant to decorate
- Buttercream and decorating supplies
- Piping bags and decorating tips
- Sprinkles and edible decorations
- Step-by-step decorating guidance
- A themed cake decorating challenge
- Friendly judging and a Cake Wars winner
- Each guest takes home their decorated cake
- Setup and cleanup

No cake decorating experience is necessary. Cake Wars is designed to be fun for complete beginners while giving experienced decorators plenty of room to show off their creativity.

For a corporate or retirement Cake Wars, teams can compete around a theme such as:
“Create a cake that represents our team’s legacy, personality, or future.”

Each team can be challenged to include:
- A creative cake name
- One recognizable team reference or inside joke
- A visual representation of an assigned challenge
- A 60-second presentation defending their artistic choices
Secret challenges can also be introduced during the competition to make the event even more interactive.

We can tailor the final portion of the event for a retirement, employee milestone, team celebration, company anniversary, or other special occasion.
