What better way to celebrate the summer than with a little music in the sunshine? This edition of Build-a-Band focuses on portable, acoustic instruments that can be played outdoors; our class will be taking daily walks to St. Johns Park for a fresh, outdoor take on this collaborative musicianship experience. This is a Stage 2 intermediate class intended for students with previous experience singing or playing a portable, acoustic instrument. Students in this class will work together to build their own multi-instrument ensemble. The class emphasizes creating music collaboratively with bandmates, and addresses composition and arrangement, band dynamics, rehearsal techniques, and performance. All instruments and voice types are welcome, and all students that meet the age and experience requirements are encouraged to join this one-of-a-kind class!
NEW STUDENTS: INSTRUCTOR PERMISSION REQUIRED. PLEASE CONTACT TEACHER WES PRIOR TO REGISTERING FOR THIS CLASS: email@example.com
