Description

This is not your average after-school program! Art in the Afternoon provides a creative environment for elementary aged students that encourages exploratory learning through the art-making process. A typical day includes snack and playtime (3-4pm) and art-making time (4-5:30pm) and pick up (5:30-6pm). Homework time is available upon request; however, we cannot guarantee homework completion. Students complete 2-3 projects in a typical week and focus on different themes throughout the year. Just a few of the previous projects include works inspired by famous artists, stop-motion animation, painting, and pottery.
