Class Experience
Join the fun this summer in the hit movie/ turned musical "Footloose!". This is not a traditional camp. Footloose will have a rehearsal schedule between the hours of 3-9pm on weekdays and 9-4pm on Saturdays and 2-6pm on Sundays June 12-July 15, 2023. Audtions held May 13th. Not everyone is needed at every rehearsal time, a schedule will be given. Please do not enroll if you plan to be out town durring these dates. There will be 4 performances and a possible 4th of July showcase in Monrovia's Library Park before the fireworks celebration and promote our organization. Performances are July 13-15, 2023.

There is an audition for placement in the teen musical. Sat, May 13th 9am-1pm. We will email details of what to prepare to the email you register with.
Class Requirements
- There will be a mandatory audition on May 13th 9am-1pm at our studio. A link to the audition materials will be emailed a week before. I f you can not attend this, please contact Keely Millken at centrestageinc@yahoo.com to find an alternative date.
What you'll learn
- This is a musical theater exsperience. Students will be a part of a cast to perform a musical with sets, costumes, etc along with perfecting their dance, acting and singing skills for the production along with teamwork and social/emotional well being.
Sample Class Format
- Cast will be given a rehearsal schedule. This is not a drop off camp. Students only need to attend the amount of hours their role requires. Students will work in large groups and small groups with directors.
Other Things To Know
We encourage adult participation in our set building, props, costumes, concessions, ushers, candy gram activities. Some roles maybe casted as adults.
Script, song and dance memorizing.
$100 deposit is not refundable. Remaining camp tuition is refundable 24 hours before your camp beings it's session. After session begins, camp is not refundable.
What To Bring
- jazz/tennis shoes and modest clothes you can dance in. (no dresses and no mid drift shirts.)
- script will be provded. Bring to every rehearsal along with a phone to record and pencil for notes.
