Class Experience

Travel the world one craft at a time! In this class students will create crafts from around the globe, while learning about various cultures and the traditional crafts from those regions. Students will discover the meanings and purposes of the crafts and gain skills in a variety of materials and techniques while making their own unique treasures. The class will explore the rich artistic traditions of Africa, the Middle East, Asia, Europe, Mexico, Central and South America, the Caribbean, and the United States and Canada. Students will create one craft from a different culture each month. Great for teachers who want to bring these rich artistic traditions into their classroom! All levels welcome. No experience necessary.
