Description
You’ve seen it in the movies, now learn how to do it yourself! In this introductory class, learn the skills necessary to throw cylinders, cups, bowls and more. Wedging, centering, pulling, lifting and trimming are demonstrated, and basic surface decoration techniques are also explored.
This class is designed for students with little or no experience on the potter’s wheel, though those with some experience are welcome in this class as well to learn new and slightly advanced techniques to continue to grow their skill!
Complimentary use of open studio and bisque firings included.
Students in this class must be at least 16 years old.

Notes:
This class is held in our clay studio. Please enter through the clay studio door at the back of our building. Head through the alley toward the parking garage and past the murals and then turn right. In accordance with CDC recommendations and the Stanislaus County mandate all class participants including the teacher will be required to wear a mask during class. We appreciate you helping us to meet current requirements.
