

Celebrate your birthday at Children's Art Classes! Our amazing art teachers will guide your guests through a fun art activity. You will also be able to decorate the studio and bring your own food. The following are our standard activity options, but we will work with you to choose an activity that your guests will enjoy.
Painting
Each guest will create a painting on canvas. This option is great for older children and adults. We also offer this for younger children and will scale the difficulty accordingly. The design for each party can be based on the party theme or the birthday child's interests. Paintings can go home with each child when they leave the party.
Clay
Each guest will create a work of art with clay and paint. This is a great option for younger children, who may struggle with canvas painting. We also offer this option for older children and adults and will scale the difficulty accordingly. The design for each party can be based on the party theme or the birthday child's interests. Clay sculptures will need to be fired before going home. The firing process can take 1-2 weeks, depending on kiln availability.
What does the party fee include?
- 1.5 hours of activity time with a CAC art teacher
- 30 minutes of prep time for the host to set up food and decorate
- 12 participants (12.50 per additional participant, up to 20 total participants)
- No separate charge for art materials
- No separate charge for firing costs, if applicable

PAYMENT
All fees (party fee + any add-ons) are to be paid at the time of booking. If the party host needs to add additional guests, please contact us with your updated headcount. Any charges on top of the party fee, i.e., add-ons, must be paid no later than one week before your time slot.
POST-PARTY CLEANUP
We will handle any art messes. The party host is responsible for clearing and properly disposing of all food-related items (e.g., food products, utensils, plates, cups, etc.). The party host is also responsible for clearing any decorations that they bring.
INCLEMENT WEATHER
In the case of inclement weather, the party host will be notified as soon as possible if the studio needs to close. We expect studio closures to be very rare, but our guests' safety and that of our teachers is of upmost importance. If an unexpected studio closure occurs on the party day, the party host will receive a full refund of the party fee and any add-on items they purchased. We will also provide the party host a 10% discount to rebook.
LATE ARRIVALS
In order to have enough time to complete the activity, it is important that the party start on time (30 minutes after the beginning of the time slot).
- Hosts: Hosts are given 30 minutes to set up ahead of time and should plan to arrive promptly at the beginning of their time slot. The teacher will commence the art activity when those 30 minutes are up to ensure that guests have the time to complete their projects. Refer to "No Shows" below to see what occurs if the host is more than one hour late and cannot be reached.
- Guests: We understand that it's likely that some guests may arrive at different times during the party for a variety of reasons. Ideally, each guest would arrive on time and be able to complete their project by the end of the party. If a guest arrives late, they will not have as much time to complete their project and may have to finish it at home.
RESCHEDULING
If the scheduled time slot no longer works for the party host, we ask that the party host requests to reschedule their party at least one week before their time slot. Please note that we cannot guarantee that another time slot will be available close to the date of the original time slot. Please rest assured that we will try our best to find a suitable alternative. To allow us the opportunity to offer the time slot to another host, timely communication is appreciated. As such, the following guidelines apply.
- Hosts requesting to reschedule *at least one week before their time slot* can simply transfer their payment to the new date. If the host is unable to find a date that works for them, they will receive a 100% refund of their party fee and a 100% refund for any add-ons purchased.
- Hosts requesting to reschedule *within one week of their time slot* can simply transfer their payment to the new date. If the host is unable to find a time slot that works for them and needs to cancel, they will receive a 50% refund of their party fee and a 100% refund for any add-ons purchased. Exception: If the host cannot find a new time slot that works for them and needs to cancel AND another host books their original day and time, we will issue a refund for 100% of the party fee (instead of 50%).
- Hosts requesting to reschedule *within 24 hours of their time slot* can transfer their payment to the new time slot. A $75 late notice change fee will be assessed. If the host cannot find a new time slot that works for them and needs to cancel, they will receive *no refund* of the party fee and a 100% refund for any add-ons purchased. They will not incur a late notice change fee. Exception: If the host cannot find a new time slot that works for them and needs to cancel AND another host books their original time slot, we will issue a refund for 100% of the party fee (instead of 0%) and a 100% refund for any add-ons purchased.
CANCELLATIONS
We understand that things come up. However, we request that if the party host needs to cancel, they notify us at least one week before their time slot.
* Hosts canceling *at least one week before their time slot* will receive a 100% refund of the party fee and a 100% refund for any add-ons purchased.
* Hosts canceling *within one week of their time slot* will receive a 50% refund of the party fee and a 100% refund for any add-ons purchased. Exception: If another host books the now vacant time slot, we will issue the original party host a refund for 100% of the party fee (instead of 50%) and a 100% refund for any add-ons purchased.
* Hosts canceling *within 24 hours of their time slot* will forfeit the party fee, but they will receive a 100% refund for any add-ons purchased. Exception: If another host books the now vacant time slot, we will issue a refund for 100% of the party fee (instead of the party host forfeiting the party fee) and a 100% refund for any add-ons purchased.
"NO SHOWS"
Our teachers work hard to not only ensure that the studio is ready ahead of a party but also design an activity based on the birthday guest' interests. Therefore, the party host *must notify us* if they and their guests will no longer use their booked time slot. The host is considered a "no show" if they do not arrive at the studio by the beginning of the second hour of their two-hour time slot (e.g., the party is scheduled from 1PM to 3PM and the host has not arrived by 2PM) AND the host has not notified the studio of their need to cancel or reschedule within the cancellation/reschedule window. The teacher will attempt to contact the party host if they have not arrived within 45 minutes after the scheduled start time. To respect our teachers' time, effort, and expertise, if the host and their guests do not arrive by the beginning of the second hour of their time slot and have not responded to the teacher's attempts to contact them, the following will occur:
- The teacher will cancel the party at the beginning of the second hour of the time slot (60 minutes or halfway through the time slot).
- If the teacher needs to cancel the party, the host will forfeit their party fee AND any fees they paid for additional guests.
