Class Experience
Join us for our summer musical for ages 7-9! "Annie KIDS" is based on the comic and adapted from the full-length musical.
Actors ages 7-9 will register, work with staff to prepare an audition, receive their role(s), rehearse, then perform Annie KIDS for their friends and family!

CTW will email you details on the program about 1-2 weeks before it begins.
Class Requirements
- No previous experience in theatre or musical theatre expected
- Some reading expected; if students require accomodations for reading, let us know!
What you'll learn
- Actors will practice auditioning for musical theatre
- Actors will learn to read sheet music
- Actors will learn foundational choreography
- Actors will learn acting skills
Sample Class Format
- First week: Actors will work with staff to establish a group culture and practice their audition. They will audition and the staff will cast everyone in the group in their role(s). Everyone enrolled will receive a role.
- No more than 30 actors will be in the program, to ensure everyone receives adequate stage time and instruction.
- Rehearsals are Mon/Tues/Thurs in the evening at the Collingwood Arts Center and Ohio Theatre. Actors should plan to attend all rehearsals. Rehearsals will include practicing acting, singing in groups and solos, and choreography. Rehearsals are usually 90 minutes long.
- Actors are expected to attend all rehearsals the week of June 20-22, and rehearsals will be 2 hours long. This is tech week.
- Performances are June 23rd at 7:00 pm, June 24th at 7:00 pm, and June 25th at 2:00 pm. The show runs about 35 minutes long. Performances are open to the public.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made prior to the start date are fully refundable. There are no refunds after the program starts. If after the first class your student finds the program not a good fit, please contact us for options: office@ctwtoledo.org
What To Bring
- CTW provides, as part of tuition: script, costume (unless it can be brought from home), makeup, etc.
- Please bring to rehearsal: water bottle, pencil, and the script CTW provides.
- All actors should wear closed-toed shoes to reduce tripping or losing footwear, while dancing.
