Class Experience
Grab your swords and crowns! Join us as we play theatre games, practice improvisation, make crafts, sing, dance, and devise original short plays inspired by quests, magical realms, and fearless fighters!
Class Requirements
- No experience required; this camp is for creative minds who want to explore their dramatic side!
- Campers ages 6-12 will attend from 9 am-5 pm; please use that camp registration for a 6-12 year old camper.
What you'll learn
- Campers will practice improv, playwriting/storytelling, musical theatre, and more!
- There is no formal performance at the end of this camp, but we will send home updates of what they did this week!
Sample Class Format
- Campers are split into age groups, usually 4-5 yr olds, 6-7 yr olds, 8-9 yr olds, and 10-12 yr olds.
- These cohorts rotate between our topics: improvisation, crafts, musical theatre, theatre games, and devising (which is collaborating playwriting and group storytelling).
- For 4-5 year olds, there is one snack break and one lunch break.
- Each class is about 25 minutes long.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made prior to the start date are fully refundable. There are no refunds after the program starts. If after the first class your student finds the program not a good fit, please contact us for options: office@ctwtoledo.org
What To Bring
- Campers should bring a packed lunch, a water bottle, and their favorite quiet activity if they prefer to be low-key during their breaks. Please consider leaving electronic devices at home, as CTW will not take responsibility for the care and keeping of these devices.
- Campers should wear comfortable clothes they can move in.
- CTW will provide a morning and afternoon snack; however, families are welcome to send a snack from home.
