A star is made, not born! In this special class, your Hollywood bound kid will learn the rules and techniques of acting for the camera in a fun and supportive environment. We start off with several improv games and exercises that stimulate the imagination and build confidence! As the class progresses, kids will practice acting techniques unique to filmmaking including: character motivation, nonconsecutive filming, hitting your mark, blocking action and calibrating movement for the camera and shot size, stage presence, and more. Unique to this immersive acting class is your child's ability to learn both acting skills as well as real movie set production lingo. Children will practice both acting skills as well as filmmaking, editing, and stage presence techniques. Kids will finish the class with a script, and a film they created together!
