Class Experience

It wouldn’t be summer at Cinnabar without a Harry Potter camp. Back by popular demand! We jump back into Potterville with a whole new adventure. Inspired by the stories of the boy wizard and his magical journey, students will create an original story about the world of Hogwarts. Students will write, design, and craft an original character using the Harry Potter stories as reference. No theatrical experience is necessary but to get the most out of this class students should be familiar with the Harry Potter books as we will be using them as a jumping-off point into our magical world. Dementors need not enroll. The final day of camp will include a share-formance for parents and family.

THE FIRST DAY: Parents and students please come to the theater by 9:00 am; shortly thereafter you will hear a 10-minute presentation from
Nathan Cummings, Cinnabars Education Director. After the presentation, kids will begin camp and parents will be excused

ITEMS TO BRING DAILY: Please pay attention to all the items you are being asked to bring from home.
Each item should be clearly labeled with his/her name. Cinnabar Theater and its faculty/staff are not responsible for lost or stolen items.
• Water Bottle which can STAY in their box for the duration of camp, so they don’t have to remember it every day (otherwise we end up going thru hundreds of paper cups…please help us conserve!!!)

o Cinnabar Theater is a Peanut-Free/Tree -Nut Free campus. Please do not include nuts of any kind in your child’s snack or lunch. If you have questions regarding this please contact Cinnabar.
• A pencil

What to Wear: Wear comfortable clothing suitable for movement/dance, theater games (often involve sitting on the floor), and craft activities involving paint, glue, etc. Campers should wear comfortable shoes, closed-toed shoes (sneakers are perfect!): NO flip-flops, heels, slip-ons or clogs!
