Roll for initiative! Actors will create engaging characters, improvise bold strategies, and work as a team to weave epic tales of action and intrigue! Drawing on classic Role-Playing games like Dungeons & Dragons, as well as newer one-page games like Honey Heist, this class focuses on long-form improv storytelling and character development. Every session will offer unique improv exercises and new opportunities to shape characters, all while students work collaboratively with fellow actors to tell meaningful stories full of drama and humor, using game systems as a springboard into the action!
This class is a great way for performers to develop improvisational skills, vocal and dialect control, confidence, coordination, and creative physical expression. At the end of this session, students will show what they have learned for parents and family in a small Share-formance.
This class will be held at our Studio Space at the Petaluma Village Premium Outlets.
