Class Experience

Vex Robotics is a program that focuses on hands-on learning, where students can design, build, and program robots using Vex Robotics kits. The Vex IQ kit comes with motors, sensors, and structural pieces that will be used to create robots with different functions and abilities. Students will have the opportunity to learn coding skills using block-based coding software or text-based coding languages like Python.

The program covers a range of topics, including engineering design principles, basic mechanics, and coding on virtual playgrounds as well asl real-life playing fields. Students will have the chance to work collaboratively in teams to solve problems and create innovative solutions using Vex Robotics.

The Vex Robotics summer session is an excellent opportunity for students in grades 4-6 to learn about coding and robotics while developing critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork skills. It is a fun and engaging way to introduce young learners to the world of robotics and engineering and inspire them to pursue these fields further in the future.
