Fizzy, bubbly, messy mixing! What's a better way to celebrate than to make bubbling colorful concoctions with your friends and family? For this birthday celebration, guests will arrive to an outside, open play space that includes a mud kitchen, water wall, fairy house, and a construction building/rocks/ramps space. In addition there will be two sensory stations. 30 minutes after arrival time, the group will gather for a demonstration of the activity. Each child is provided with their own work station with a large circle tray and tools to pour, mix, squirt, and stir. There are shared materials for cutting, sprinkling, and squirting like flowers, baking soda, colored salts, colored vinegar, soap, and powdered tempera paint. At the end, each child adds a handful of sparkles to a sensory bottle and decorates the top. This becomes the party favor. They are great sensory calm down jars and they made them themselves!

Policy

Thank you so much for choosing Color Fields Art Space for your child’s birthday celebration!
To ensure a successful event, please read carefully and agree to the following:
1. A non-refundable deposit of half the base price will secure your party date. The remaining balance will be charged the week of your party after your guest count is confirmed. The deposit must be paid within 24 hours that it is sent to secure the date. Your date may be offered to others after that time.
2. We offer parties for children turning 3 and older.
3 . The party fee includes up to 10 children (this number will include the birthday child and participating siblings), $15 each additional child up to 16 children maximum. Parents and caregivers are welcome, and we recommend one grown- up per child. We suggest drop- off or drop- off optional parties for kids who are 6 and older.
4. Parties are 90 minutes in length. The first 30 minutes is open play and art activities, the following 30 minutes will be dedicated to gathering for project work at the studio tables. Our staff will manage the transitions between open play, project time, and food service.
5. The last 30 minutes of the party is reserved for food and treats. For sanitation purposes, we ask that all food distribution/consumption be reserved for the final 30 minutes of the party. A successful 90 minute party structure depends on the time it takes the children to sit down and enjoy food together during that last 30 minutes. The birthday child's family is responsible for bringing in food and beverage and all supplies for eating. We are happy to assist you with the distribution of food and beverage
6. Our parties are child- centered, so alcohol is not permitted.
7. We will email you two weeks in advance to confirm the party theme and approximate guest count. Monday in advance of the party, we will email again to confirm the final number of guests along with all the information you'll need to know. Please reply promptly.
8. You may decorate the carport area and/or the fence around the yard however you would like. We ask that you leave the front yard space clear of decoration.
9. If weather does not allow us to play outside we will use the inside space and the porch and covered carport.
10. In case of inclement weather or illness of the birthday child, parties may be cancelled. Our small business depends on our party model, so all deposits are nonrefundable. We will do our best to offer a date to reschedule, but this is not guaranteed.
11. Please inform your guests in your invitation to dress for messy materials (paints are washable, but some fabrics are less forgiving).
12. After your party ends, we have a 20 minute grace period for you to clean up and make your way out of the front yard and carport.
13. We have thought carefully about our offerings to give your family and guests the best possible experience. For this reason, we do not make exceptions/customizations to these offerings or protocols and our party menu is subject to seasonal changes.
14. By placing a deposit on a party, you agree to accept the following terms:
I/ we do hereby agree to release Color Fields Art Space, and all associated persons, from liability for any accident or injury sustained during the time spent at Color Fields Art Space for this party or related activities. I grant permission for myself and/ my children to voluntarily participate in activities related to the birthday party. I have advised the guests of this party and their parents that photos may be taken and used strictly for the purpose of Color Fields Art Space. I have also advised that clothing may get messy! I/ we will not make claim against or sue Color Fields Art Space.
