This class will explore how to integrate clasps and closures into jewelry design, and how form and function can be combined with innovative approaches to designing clasp and closure mechanisms. Expand your design horizons; combine form and function by rethinking clasps and closures for jewelry. The clasp doesn’t have to be a separate thing isolated out-of-sight at the back ends of the chain. It can be part of the main attraction. Integrating clasp and closure mechanisms into the main attraction can create exciting and interesting new design solutions.
