Using copper and brass students will learn a variety of basic soldering techniques used in the creation of jewelry. Students will be taught the science behind soldering, why to use what flux and when, what is fire scale and how to prevent it, the different types of torches and flames to achieve different outcomes, and the proper setup of different projects.

There is a $15 materials fee.
