Class Experience
Your child will come to the renowned Smash Studios in NYC for either an in person rehearsal with the online CJTB band members, or kids can come to the supervised open jam to play songs, improvise and rock!
Amps, keyboards, drum sets and microphones are provided.
2:00pm-3:30pm - Session 1
3:30pm-5pm - Session 2
Class Requirements
- Our young musicians should have basic skills or higher on their chosen instruments.
What you'll learn
- Musical listening
- Enhanced skill on their instruments
- Improvisation techniques
Sample Class Format
- Bands will rehearse their original songs written during the weekly Come Join the Band Zoom sessions.
- All others will participate in the open jam. Kids are welcome to bring charts to pass around!
What To Bring
- Guitarists/bassists should bring their own instruments, cables and tuners.
- vocalists are welcome to bring their own microphones (mics will be sanitized between each musician switch).
