Class Experience

Spring Break Camp Baking Camp is open to all kids from ages 8-17 who want to join us at Cookology in Ballston Quarter!

Join us in the kitchen for a fun and educational week of cooking and eating!

Our camps will consist of a series of recipes that will focus on culinary techniques. We have found over the last few years, that utilizing professional culinary teaching methods on this age group ensures a better understanding of cooking and a feeling of accomplishment among our young customers.

You are purchasing a 5-day cooking camp that meets Monday, April 3rd through Friday, April 7th from 1:30pm - 5pm. The total cost of five sessions is $510. The class is 3.5 hours long.

In this hands-on camp/workshop, students will learn baking and pastry essentials including cakes, cookies, muffins, crusts, bread, tarts and more.

NOTE FOR PARENTS: We reserve the right to remove any disruptive or potentially dangerous child from the class. In the event your child must be removed from the class we will contact the designated caregiver who will be responsible for picking up the child immediately.

ALLERGY ALERT: Parents and/or guardians are responsible for making the Cookology staff aware of their child's allergies at the time of booking and at the time of sign-in on the first day of camp. For the safety of every child, ALL ALLERGIES (mild to severe) must be listed including the severity and nature (topical, air-borne, or ingestion) of each allergy. Every child will be touching every ingredient during the camp session. Therefore, any topical allergies must be identified as such. Subsequently, parents, guardians, and/or caregivers are responsible for providing appropriate and necessary remedies or medications to be administered in the event the child experiences an allergic reaction.

This is hands-on, classes may run over/under schedule.

Class will be from 1:30pm-5:00pm

If you would like to provide your own to-go containers you may, but we have to-go containers. Each student will need to be checked in and out daily by an adult. Older kids can leave on their own with parental permission.
