If you're looking for a way for your Girl Scout Troop to host a fun and interactive cooking class, we have put together a menu many other Troops have been using for the Simple Meals badge.

MORE IMPORTANTLY, We also provide a really fun, knowledgeable chef who teaches one to two recipes step-by-step.


The Menu for Girl Scouts' Simple Meals Badge:
This Simple Meals badge menu will cover the Girl Scout's requirements: Chicken Paillard with Lemon Cream Sauce, Duchess Potatoes and Apple Turnovers. It is also a inexpensive list of ingredients: chicken breast, potatoes, apples as the main ingredients, and the recipe feeds a family of four.

We can make the menu dairy free & gluten-free. There are no tree nuts in this recipe.

If you are booking a virtual event, you will receive a link to a web page such as this one that includes all of the virtual class details and Webex class link, you will also be able to download a PDF of ingredients and recipes for all three dishes. We do not deliver ingredients.

    Hands on Cooking Taught by Professional Chef
    Paper Chef’s Hat/Plastic Chef’s Apron For Each Child
    Class Includes: Basic Instruction of different proteins, starches and baked goods. Chef will be around to answer questions and help as needed. Groups will be working together. Girl Scouts roll-up your sleeves its up to you! You will create 1 entree (protein and starch), 1 side, and 1 dessert. (Comp. time- 1.5 hours )

      If you have young children Each menu can teach an year old with adult without prior cooking knowledge. Choose only one option below for a 90 minute to 2 hour class.

Policy

The cost is $30 per household, plus $150 fee.

Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of half the event total will be charged.

Cancellation: If you need to cancel your event, please give us 48 hours notice, or you will lose your deposit. You can change your date up to 3 times.

Minimums: We require a minimum number of guests, if less guests show the total cost of the event remains the same.

Refund Policy: If you did not enjoy any your party and would like a full or partial refund please email the owner. Our goal is to make to make you happy.
