Open Studio is an open ended experience where children are invited to use the materials in the studio to create their ideas at their own pace. Invitation stations are set up to stimulate creativity and Creature Teachers are present to support ideas and facilitate with projects. Parent and caregivers participate by helping children achieve their ideas, without doing the work for them.
Open studio is about tinkering, using different materials, solving problems and expanding creativity while building self confidence. Open studio allows children to be responsible for their own choices, materials and ideas. It honors the process of the individual in a safe and inspiring creative environment.
