Specifically for girls in 6th-8th grades, CJ's April *Unstoppable* Workshop is a combination of portrait and poetry. The collaboration with photographer Erin Silber was inspired by her Empowered Portrait series. Curious Jane is bringing the project-making – Empowered Poetry! – and hosting the event.

The 2-hour workshop is limited to 10 girls each day and combines project-making with short, individual photo sessions.

We all need a breather, especially our girls. And we all need touch-points in our lives (tangible, visual ones!) to tap into the power, beauty, intelligence and warmth we all have – and use it as a source of confidence and pride.

Participants will create poetry artwork to take home, and will receive a 4x6 print of their favorite portrait. Additional prints are available for purchase.

The proceeds from the workshop will create fully-funded scholarships for two middle school girls to attend the C.I.T. Studio program this summer.
